Google Ads + Slack

Native Slack appTeam reporting

Bring Google Ads analysis and agent updates into Slack.

Use the Adscriptly Slack app for explicit /adscriptly requests and read-only account analysis. Configured agent runs can also send updates to the connected installation default notification channel.

Intended outcome

Give the team a shared place to ask account questions and receive scheduled advertising updates.

Connection scope

Slack analysis is read-only. Agent notifications currently use the connected installation default channel rather than a channel selected separately for each agent.

What the connection does

Ask Google Ads questions and receive agent updates in Slack.

01

Read-only account analysis

Run an explicit Slack command or mention against the active Google Ads account connected to the Adscriptly user.

02

Thread-aware responses

Keep each answer in the Slack thread where the request started.

03

Scheduled agent updates

Deliver configured agent-run messages to the connected Slack installation when notifications and a default channel are enabled.

04

No broad message history

The public Slack workflow handles explicit commands, mentions, and configured notifications rather than requesting broad workspace-history access.

    Connect Google Ads

Authorize Google Ads in Adscriptly and keep an active account available for Slack analysis.

  2. 02

    Install the Slack app

Connect the intended workspace through the Adscriptly Slack setup flow.

  3. 03

  4. 04

    Ask or schedule

Connection controls

Limit Slack to read-only analysis and the configured notification channel.

  • Slack analysis requires an active Google Ads account in Adscriptly.
  • The analysis agent runs in read-only mode.
  • Notifications require an enabled installation and default channel.
  • Multiple-workspace users should verify which installation is most recent.

Integration FAQ

Before you connect.

Can Adscriptly send Google Ads reports to Slack?

Yes. Explicit Slack requests can return read-only Google Ads analysis, and configured agent runs can send updates when Slack notifications and a default channel are enabled.

Can Slack change Google Ads campaigns?

The current Slack analysis path runs in read-only mode. It does not execute Google Ads campaign changes from the Slack request.

Which Slack channel receives agent updates?

The current notification path uses the connected installation default channel. The agent setup flow does not yet store a separate workspace or channel per agent.

Does Adscriptly read all Slack messages?

No. The public workflow is scoped to explicit commands or mentions and configured notifications; it does not request broad message-history access.
