What the connection does

Choose which Shopify events to send to Google Ads.

01

Receive Shopify events

Bring the selected order or customer payload into Adscriptly through a mapped webhook payload or a Zapier workflow you control.

02

Choose the order state

Define whether paid, fulfilled, non-refunded, or another explicit order condition represents the revenue outcome.

03

Preserve click attribution

Carry the supported Google Ads click identifier from the storefront or checkout into the order payload when click-level attribution is required.

04

Review the Google Ads output

Choose the Google Ads account and conversion action, inspect the mapping, and test the external handoff before enabling it.

Setup

Set up and test the Shopify event route.

  1. 01

    Choose a Shopify trigger

Start with the paid, fulfilled, refunded, or customer milestone that represents the business outcome you want to route.

  2. 02

    Send a test payload

Use Zapier or your webhook sender to deliver representative fields, including order click-identifier field when attribution depends on it.

  3. 03

    Map the qualification rule

Choose the accepted order state and refund behavior. Keep records that do not meet the rule out of the advertising signal.

  4. 04

    Review the Google Ads destination

Confirm the account, purchase conversion action, order identity, value, and currency before the external handoff is enabled.

Connection controls

Review the connection method, event rule, and destination.

  • The connection uses a mapped webhook or Zapier route; it is not a native source integration.
  • Shopify must send the fields used by the mapping.
  • The integration cannot recover a click identifier that was never captured in the storefront or checkout path.
  • The Google Ads destination is reviewed before the handoff is enabled.

Integration FAQ

Before you connect.

How does the Shopify Google Ads integration work in Adscriptly?

Adscriptly receives a mapped Shopify event through a webhook or Zapier, applies the configured rule, and prepares the eligible outcome for the selected Google Ads destination.

What must Shopify send?

The payload must include the event fields used for qualification and a stable event identifier. When click-level attribution is required, it must also include the supported identifier captured before the handoff.

Does this connect Shopify products to Google Merchant Center?

No. Use Shopify and Google commerce-channel tooling for product feeds and Merchant Center. This Adscriptly page is limited to selected order or customer outcomes used as advertising signals.

Does Adscriptly change records in Shopify?

No. This route receives the mapped event for qualification and delivery. It does not edit the source record, workflow, audience, catalog, or storefront configuration.
